TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
