Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
