TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
